Getting the most out of Lantern Hollow
Lantern Hollow is easy to rush, and rushing it misses the point. This is a game that rewards wandering, so my first piece of advice is simply to slow down and talk to everyone twice.
A lot of the village's story only surfaces if you revisit characters after certain events. The dialogue changes, new details emerge, and a few of the light puzzles only make sense once you've heard the right conversation. Exploration is the real mechanic here.
On the puzzles themselves — none of them are brutal, but a couple expect you to notice small environmental details. If you're stuck, step back and look at the whole screen rather than tapping frantically. The answer is usually something you walked past.
It's a short game, four or five hours, and I'd honestly suggest playing it in one or two calm sessions rather than spreading it thin. The mood builds beautifully when you stay inside it.
